COMBO FILTER

Hey everybody,
I'm still around so if there's any questions just add a comment,I'll get back to you ASAP.
I've come up with what I call the "Combo Filter"and the last 3 months it has worked out really super for me.
What it basically is is the RunForestRun scan, authored by Avery Horton, combined with the stocks over 8% with ADR(30).
Very simple but pretty deadly.
An old friend of mine who goes by the nick 13th_floor got in touch with me around November of last year and said he was finally serious about trading for a living and asked me to tutor him.
Since we go back a long way,and he is such a giving person, I said sure.
To make a long story short he has come a looooong way since then.
He actually uses strictly my methodology and has been posting a bunch on Stockfetcher.
So here is the link to the SF forum that he describes what he calls The Deadly Combo

P.S. He has been in the live chatroom the last 2 weeks and from what I've heard his headsup are burying Muddy's,haha
Good for him,he has the fire,me I'm still on hiatus but expect to return to the chatroom after summer.
So if you want to check out the chat again if you were an old visitor in the past or if you are new to the chat, please drop in,we have renewed the chatroom for another year.
To newer viewers to this blog, you can see there haven't been any posts here for quite awhile BUT everything posted here remains the same, the "old" stuff still works so read.
Sincerely Muddy

P.P.S. Laura and I have asked 13th to be a contributor here with posts and to be a moderator in the room.

Hi gang...

Can you please clarify something for me... after reading this post by 13th on the SF forums reagarding the "Deadly Combo Filter"... what does this sentence mean -

"These stocks are at least 8% ADR(30) AND have run at least 10 times in the last 100 days over 10% in a day."

You probably already know that Laura taught me what ADR(30) means, how it works, etc. (THANK YOU LAURA for your patience with that lesson!!!)

What I don't get is what the "8%" means and what the "10%" means. I know what a "run" is... I know what ADR(30) is (now)... but if you could interpret the sentence above in lahman's terms... please and thank you in advance.

Hello...

Disregard my question... I think I figured it out... I'm sending an email to you for further clarification though...

Thanks.

Actually, noobtrader's questions are mine too. I haven't figured out what the 8% nor what ADR(30) means. I tried to look it up in SF but what I see there is ADX. Can someone explain? I know it may be simple for all of you but I'm more of a noob than noobtrader. Thanks!

Oh yeah, and how do I add those to the SF screen? Thanks!
