Day rangers are stocks which have an average day range over the last 10 to 30 days of at least 8%.

The theory is,and I've found it to be true,if one of these say go green from a percent or 2 red,they can get 4-6% rather quickly because of their avg.dayrange of 8%,much better than a lower % dayranger.

Better yet some can take off big when they open green and keep going.

I love to use them off the scrolling Scott hod list.
They work very well with the sma 10/60 cross on a 5 min chart also.
